Uten Student Marinko Matosevic Qualifies for
Sydney International
Marinko Matosevic could be handed a dream second-round tie against Lleyton Hewitt
after the Australian No.5 qualified for the main draw of the Sydney International
on Sunday.
The 24-year-old Croatian-born Melburnian qualified for the draw of a main tour event
for the first time with a 6-4 6-1 win over Spain's Daniel Gimeno Traver.
Matosevic will now face world No.49 Andreas Seppi, with the winner meeting Hewitt
in a second round match likely to be played on Wednesday.
